Criteria for Membership
As a member of the National Employment Law Council, you are a member of a vibrant, mutually-supporting community of the pre-eminent minority management-side labor and employment law practitioners and senior HR executives in the U.S. Members share best practices, participate in advanced-level CLE, and interact with leading practitioners, including federal judges, managing partners, leading trial lawyers, and agency leadership of the EEOC, NLRB, and DOL.
Our members actively mentor and support one another and junior practitioners, and provide business development opportunities.
NELC members include in-house counsel from companies such as AT&T, Chick-fil-A, Facebook, Google, John Deere, McDonald's, and The Fresh Market.
Our outside counsel members include members from firms such as Arent Fox, Baker & Hostetler, Buchanan Ingersoll, Constangy Brooks, Cozen O'Connor, Davis Wright Tremaine, Dentons, Ford Harrison, Goldberg Kohn, Jackson Lewis, Jones Day, Littler Mendelson, Locke Lord, Morgan Lewis, Nilan Johnson, Ogletree Deakins, Seyfarth Shaw, Troutman Sanders, and other national, regional, and boutique law firms.
We are offering our members an opportunity to provide additional financial support to NELC by paying $1,000, instead of the regular member price, to become a Sustaining Member. Sustaining Members will be featured on the Membership Directory tab of the website, with a photograph and description of their practice allowing anyone who accesses the website to view the sustaining members' profiles. Contact Vanessa Griffin for additional information on becoming a Sustaining Member and how to create your profile for the website.
